学び直しの中で見つけた“真の柔道”〜A指導員資格取得を通して〜 Rediscovering the True Spirit of Judo – Through Earning the A-Class Instructor Certification
「柔道を、もう一度学び直したい」
そんな気持ちが芽生えたのは、ある日の稽古終わりの帰り道でした。
技術だけでなく、人としての在り方まで問われる柔道。
30年以上関わってきたこの道を、さらに深めたいという思いが、静かに、しかし確かに心に灯ったのです。
“I want to relearn judo from the beginning.”
That thought quietly emerged on my way home after a regular training session.
Judo demands more than technical skill—it asks who you are as a person.
Having walked this path for over 30 years, I felt a deep desire to revisit and deepen my understanding of the art.
全日本柔道連盟が定める「公認柔道指導者資格制度」の中でも、最も高いレベルの資格の一つが“A指導員”です。
この資格は、ただ教えるだけでなく、「指導者を育てる」ための専門的知識と高い指導力が求められます。
Among the certifications in the All Japan Judo Federation’s official instructor qualification system, the A-Class Instructor is among the highest.
It is not merely about teaching techniques; it requires deep expertise and the ability to train other instructors.
柔道論、安全管理、指導者の倫理、柔道の科学…。
まるで大学の専門講義のような内容がびっしりと詰まった集合研修。
レポート提出に実技指導、講義でのディスカッション…。
決して簡単な道ではありませんでしたが、それがまた、柔道を“深く考える時間”を与えてくれました。
Judo theory, safety management, coaching ethics, judo science…
The intensive training was packed with university-level material.
We were required to write reports, perform practical instruction, and engage in deep discussions.
It wasn’t easy—but through this challenge, I was given the rare opportunity to truly reflect on the meaning of judo.

集合研修には、講道館杯や体重別選手権の優勝者、オリンピックメダリストたちも参加していました。
そんなトップアスリートたちとグループディスカッションを通じて、彼らの柔道に対する考え方や倫理観、安全への意識に触れられたことは、何よりの刺激でした。
Among the participants were champions of the Kodokan Cup, weight category nationals, and Olympic medalists.
Having direct discussions with such elite athletes and hearing their perspectives on judo, ethics, and safety was incredibly inspiring.
彼らの目は決して勝利だけを見ていない。
勝ち負けを超えたところにある「柔道の本質」を真摯に見つめていることに、心が震えました。
Their eyes weren’t focused solely on winning.
They were searching for something deeper—the true essence of judo beyond victory and defeat. That deeply moved me.
無事、A指導員資格を取得することができました。
でも、それはゴールではなく、新しいスタート。
I successfully obtained the A-Class Instructor Certification.
But this isn’t a goal—it’s a new beginning.
学び直す中で、私は柔道を取り巻く「安全」と「倫理」について、改めて深く考えさせられました。
今後の柔道界では、指導者の在り方がますます問われます。
暴力やハラスメントのない、安全で安心できる道場。
指導者自身が模範となり、礼節とコンプライアンスを大切にする。
そうした環境づくりこそ、柔道の未来を切り開く鍵になると、私は信じています。
Through relearning, I gained new insights into the importance of safety and ethics in the judo community.
In the years to come, the role of the instructor will be more important than ever.
We must eliminate violence and harassment from our dojos, ensuring safe and welcoming environments for all.
Instructors must lead by example—with respect, integrity, and compliance.
This, I believe, is the foundation for the future of judo.

私はこの資格で得た学びを、日々の指導に活かしていきます。
初心者も経験者も、子どもも大人も、誰もが安全に、そして楽しく柔道を学べる場を提供していきたい。
