令和6年度 東京・関東地区対抗選抜柔道大会 Reiwa 6 Tokyo and Kanto District Competition Selection Judo Tournament この大会は、東京地区と関東地区の高段者（六段以上）が一堂に会し、学校、実業団、個人道場、各種柔道クラブなど、それぞれの場で指導に携わる者達が覇を競い合う伝統ある団体戦です。 The Tokyo vs. Kanto Judo Tournament is a prestigious team competition where high-ranking judoka—sixth dan and above—representing schools, corporate teams, private dojos, and various judo clubs gather to test their skills. 東京・関東の両地区から、それぞれ選抜された38名が熱戦を繰り広げました。 Each year, 38 judoka from Tokyo and 38 from Kanto are selected to compete in this traditional event. 今年は 3月23日（日）、講道館5階女子部道場 にて開催。 This year, the tournament took place on Sunday, March 23, at the 5th-floor Women’s Dojo in the KODOKAN. 結果は 関東21勝、東京10勝、7引き分け で関東が勝利を収めました。 The results: Kanto secured victory with 21 wins, Tokyo had 10 wins, and 7 matches ended in a draw . 神奈川県選抜チーム 横浜土曜柔道会の仲間たちの活躍 T he Success of Our Yokohama Saturday Judo Club Members 横浜土曜柔道会でともに技を磨く仲間からは、関東5名、東京3名の計8名が選抜 されました。 Among the competitors, 8 judoka from our Yokoh...

  6月29日は、オーストリアから高校生が武者修行に我ら横浜土曜柔道会に来てくれました。 On June 29, high school students from Austria came to our Yokohama Saturday Judo Club for martial arts training. この国際交流は、そもそも3年前にクラブメンバーの一人が始めたものでした。 This international exchange originally began three years ago with one of our club members. 2022年の一人から始まり、2023年は二人と増え、今年2024年はなんと5人もオーストリアから遠征し、週末の稽古に参加し一緒に汗を流してくれました。 Starting with one student in 2022 and increasing to two in 2023, this year, 2024, we had as many as five students travel from Austria to join our weekend training and practice alongside us. これは、熱意のある親の支援と子供たちのやる気があってこそ実現したものだと痛感する事が出来ましました。 This realization was only possible thanks to the dedicated support of their enthusiastic parents and the students' own motivation. 次回はスイスから多数のメンバーが稽古に参加したいというご要望を頂き、受け入れます。 Next time, we have received requests from several members from Switzerland who wish to participate in our training, and we will be welcoming them. 母校 埼玉大学の現役生やOBにも多数参加してもらい、一緒に汗を流し日本柔道の真髄をしっかりと伝え、国際交流を進めたいと...

6月15日（土）の横浜土曜柔道会は、いつもとは一味違う賑わいを見せました。 On Saturday, June 15th, the Yokohama Saturday Judo Club experienced a unique excitement. なんと、ポーランドから9つのクラブチーム、総勢30名の柔道家たちが参加してくれたのです。 A total of 30 judokas from nine club teams in Poland participated in our practice session. メンバーが指導者５名、中高生２５名（男子１９名、女子6名）。ポーランド国内で柔道を学んでいる若き武者たちです。 The group consisted of five instructors and 25 middle and high school students (19 boys and 6 girls), all young warriors studying judo in Poland. 昨年の横浜国立大学柔道部との合同稽古にも参加してくれました。 They also participated in a joint practice session with the Yokohama National University Judo Club last year. 今年も再び私たちの稽古に参加頂き、今回で2回目交流となりました。 This year, they joined us again, marking the second time we've had this exchange. 柔道修行の旅　The Journey of Judo training Camp ポーランドからのメンバーたちは、毎年日本に来て柔道の武者修行を行っています。 Every year, the members from Poland come to Japan for martial arts training in judo. 一日たりとも無駄にせず、講道館をはじめとする複数の拠点で稽古を行い、本場日本で技と精神を学んでいます。 Without wasting a single day, they practice at various loc...
