第40回 皇后盃全日本女子柔道選手権大会 観戦レポート 〜熱き一日に胸が震えた〜 The 40th Empress’s Cup All Japan Women’s Judo Championship - A Day of Passion and Power 2025年4月20日（日）、横浜武道館にて第40回皇后盃全日本女子柔道選手権大会が開催されました。 On Sunday, April 20th, 2025, the 40th Empress’s Cup All Japan Women’s Judo Championship was held at Yokohama Budokan. 無差別級で日本一を決める、女子柔道の頂上決戦。会場は朝から熱気に包まれていました。 This open-weight tournament determines the top female judoka in Japan. 3月22日、横浜武道館が熱気に包まれた。「第3回柔道マガジン杯全国中学生柔道大会」が開催され、全国から男子99チーム、女子64チームが集い、日本一を目指して熱戦を繰り広げた。 On March 22, the Yokohama Budokan was filled with excitement as the 3rd Judo Magazine Cup National Junior High School Judo Tournament took place. A total of 99 boys' teams and 64 girls' teams from all over Japan gathered to compete for the national title. この大会の特徴は、学校の部活動チームと個人道場チームが垣根を越えて競い合う点にある。普段の環境を超えた実戦の場は、選手たちにとって大きな成長の機会となる。初日は予選リーグが行われ、各ブロックの勝者が翌日の決勝トーナメントへと駒を進めた。 One of the unique aspects of this tournament is that both school club teams and private dojo teams compete against each other, transcending their usual environments. This provides an excellent opportunity for athletes to grow. ■ ３年ぶりの開催 　 　 Held for the First Time in Three Years 11月3日文化の日は3年ぶりに日神杯横浜市柔道選手権大会が開催されました。 On November 3, Culture Day, the Nisshin Cup Yokohama City Judo Championship Tournament was held for the first time in three years. 私は審判員として参加しました。 I participated as a referee. コロナ禍で3年もの間、中止となり久々の大会。 The tournament had been canceled for three years due to the Corona disaster,  and it had been a long time since it had been held. 中学生〜一般社会人の柔道愛好家が集まり熱い戦いを繰り広げました。 Judo enthusiasts from junior high school students to adults gathered for heated competition. 出場者の所属を見てみると中高大学の柔道部、教員、町道場で稽古を続けている 社会人と様々 。 The participants were from various backgrounds, including judo clubs of junior  high schools, high schools, and universities, teachers, and members of society who continue to practice at local dojos. 中学生は１年、2年、３年と学年別の部に出場する選手もいれば、既に初段を 取っている中学生は初段の部に出場して社会人と対戦する選手も。 Some junior high school students competed in the first, second, and third grade divisions, while others who had already obtained the...

▶︎スタート 横浜土曜柔道会 は10 月から神奈川県立武道館の改修工事がスタートし、来年末まで関内にある 横浜武道館 を利用し毎週末の稽古をする事となりました。 Yokohama Saturday Judo Club will be using the Yokohama Budokan in Kannai until the end of next year due to the renovation of the Kanagawa Prefectural Budokan that started in October. 横浜武道館と言えば、 2022 年 4 月にアリーナを利用して 皇后盃全日本女子柔道選手権 が開催された会場。 Yokohama Budokan is the venue where the Empress Cup All Japan Women's Judo Championships will be held in the arena in April 2022. 3 年ぶりに有観客で女子柔道の日本一を決める皇后盃が開催された会場です。 It was the venue where the Empress' Cup was held to decide the best women's judo team in Japan for the first time in three years. その他にも柔道オリンピック三連覇した野村忠宏さんが柔道教室を開いたり、柔道以外の柔術やプロバスケットボールの試合が開催されたりとさまざまな催し物が開催されている場所です。 The arena has also been the venue for various other events, such as judo classes by Tadahiro Nomura, a three-time consecutive Olympic champion in judo, as well as jujitsu and professional basketball games other than judo. ▶︎検討 県立武道館の改修工事が決まり、我らもどこで稽古をしようか？とこれまで１年間あまり色々と議論を重ね最寄りの中学校、高校...
