 横浜土曜柔道会は、近年、海外の柔道家たちが日本を訪れる“出稽古の場”として、少しずつ認知されはじめています。 In recent years, the Yokohama Saturday Judo Association has gradually gained recognition as a place where overseas judoka come to Japan for training. 「火曜日の練習にも参加したい」という問い合わせが、海外から直接届くようになったのは最近のこと。私が師範を務める火曜クラスも、徐々に国際色が増してきました。 Recently, I’ve started receiving direct inquiries from abroad asking to join our Tuesday sessions as well. My Tuesday class, where I serve as instructor, is becoming increasingly international. 昨年度、布田塾にはなんと中国から4人の小学生がやってきました。 Last year, four elementary school students from China visited our dojo, Fuda Juku. 北京市と成都市（四川省）からは8歳と10歳の女の子。連雲港市（江蘇省）からは11歳と9歳の男の兄弟。いずれも柔道衣をスーツケースに詰め、日本へと渡ってきた小さな柔道家たちです。 From Beijing and Chengdu (Sichuan), came two girls aged 8 and 10. From Lianyungang (Jiangsu), two brothers aged 11 and 9. These young judoka packed their judo uniforms into their suitcases and made the journey to Japan. みんなと一緒に 観光目的の来日であっても、「夜は日本の柔道を学びたい」と、自ら希望しての道場訪問。私たちにとっては当たり前の日常も、彼らにとっては憧れの舞台です。 Although the...
