4月28日（日）に講道館で毎年開催される全国高段者大会に参加することができました。 I was able to participate in the National High-Dan Judo Tournament held annually at the Kodokan on Sunday, April 28th.  今年は1,200人の参加との事でした。 ちょうど一年前、同じ大会に出場する一週間前の稽古中に左足のアキレス腱を断裂するという大怪我を負いました。 Exactly one year ago, during practice a week before the same tournament, I suffered a major injury by rupturing my left Achilles tendon. 初めての手術、入院、そしてリハビリの経験が始まりました。救急車に初めて乗ったのもこの時でした。  This marked the beginning of my first experience with surgery, hospitalization, and rehabilitation.
