第40回 皇后盃全日本女子柔道選手権大会 観戦レポート 〜熱き一日に胸が震えた〜
The 40th Empress’s Cup All Japan Women’s Judo Championship - A Day of Passion and Power
2025年4月20日（日）、横浜武道館にて第40回皇后盃全日本女子柔道選手権大会が開催されました。
On Sunday, April 20th, 2025, the 40th Empress’s Cup All Japan Women’s Judo Championship was held at Yokohama Budokan.
無差別級で日本一を決める、女子柔道の頂上決戦。会場は朝から熱気に包まれていました。
This open-weight tournament determines the top female judoka in Japan. The venue was filled with excitement from the morning.
■ 優勝は田中伶奈（大阪府警）！25年ぶりの快挙
■ Champion: Reina Tanaka (Osaka Police) – A Historic Victory After 25 Years
昨年の王者・瀬川麻優選手が欠場するなか、全国から選ばれた精鋭35名が出場。
With last year’s champion Mayu Segawa absent, 35 top judoka from across the country competed.
決勝戦では、田中伶奈選手（大阪府警）が白金未桜選手（筑波大学）を大外刈で一本勝ち。見事初優勝を飾りました！
In the final, Reina Tanaka (Osaka Police) scored a clean ippon with an Osoto Gari against Mio Shirokane (University of Tsukuba), claiming her first-ever victory!
大阪府警としては25年ぶりの栄冠となりました。
This marked the first win for Osaka Police in 25 years.

■ 体重57kgで無差別級に挑んだ白金未桜、快進撃
■ Mio Shirokane’s Remarkable Run – 57kg Fighter Reaches the Finals
準優勝の白金選手は、身長155cm・体重57kgと小柄ながらも、無差別級で堂々と決勝へ。
Despite her petite frame (155cm, 57kg), runner-up Shirokane boldly advanced to the finals in this open-weight competition.
史上最軽量での決勝進出に、会場からは大きな拍手が送られました。
She was the lightest athlete in history to reach the finals, earning thunderous applause from the audience.

3位入賞は、石岡来望選手（IPU）と西條里奈子選手（龍谷大）。
The two bronze medals went to Raimu Ishioka (IPU) and Rinako Saijo (Ryukoku University).
- 石岡選手は、東京予選王者・西願寺選手（コマツ）を背負投で制するも、準決勝で田中選手に敗退。
Ishioka defeated Tokyo qualifier Riho Saiganji (Komatsu) with a Seoi Nage, but fell to Tanaka in the semifinals.
- 西條選手は寝技で一本勝ちを重ね、強豪・泉真生選手（コマツ）に判定勝ちでベスト4入り。
Saijo advanced using her superb ground techniques and beat top competitor Mao Izumi (Komatsu) by decision to reach the semifinals.
■ 角田夏実選手も登場！大会を盛り上げる
■ Olympic Champion Natsumi Tsunoda Heats Up the Arena
パリ五輪金メダリストの角田夏実選手（SBC湘南）も出場。
Paris Olympic gold medalist Natsumi Tsunoda (SBC Shonan) also competed.
1回戦・2回戦と勝ち進みましたが、3回戦で惜しくも敗退。
She advanced through the first two rounds, but narrowly lost in the third. Nonetheless, her presence electrified the event.

■ Unique Tournament Rules Add Strategy and Intensity
この大会では以下のような独自ルールで実施：
The tournament featured special rules, such as:
- 試合時間は準決勝まで5分、決勝は8分（延長なし）
Match time: 5 minutes (semifinals and earlier), 8 minutes (final), no extra time
- 「一本」「技あり」「有効」によるポイント制（技あり2つで一本）
Scoring via Ippon, Waza-ari, Yuko (2 Waza-ari = 1 Ippon)
- 指導4回で反則負け
Four penalties = disqualification
- 足取り（下からの帯の掴み）も認められる
Leg grabs (gripping below the belt) are allowed
延長戦がないため、選手は時間内にすべてを出し切る必要があり、観客にも濃密な試合展開が楽しめる形式でした。
Without extra time, athletes must give their all within the match duration, creating thrilling and concentrated bouts for spectators.

全35試合の内訳：
Match outcomes across 35 bouts:
- 一本勝ち：8試合（23%） / Ippon: 8 matches (23%)
- 寝技勝ち：6試合（17%） / Ground technique wins: 6 matches (17%)
- 合技：1試合（3%） / Combined techniques: 1 match (3%)
- 判定勝ち：19試合（54%） / Decision: 19 matches (54%)
- 不戦勝：1試合 / Default: 1 match
体格差を超えた技と戦術、集中力の勝負。女子柔道の魅力が凝縮された一日となりました。
It was a day that showcased the true essence of women’s judo – skill, focus, and determination beyond size or strength.
■ 指導者として学びを得た大会
■ A Valuable Experience to Carry into Coaching
選抜体重別大会からわずか2週間後の開催。体調の維持も容易でなかったはずですが、選手たちは全力を尽くしてくれました。
Held just two weeks after the weight-class championships, athletes faced tough conditions, yet showed incredible performance.
勝負の世界の厳しさを感じるとともに、今後の指導に活かしたい貴重な経験となりました。
This event reminded me of the harsh reality of competition—and provided valuable insights to reflect upon and integrate into future coaching.
来年も、またこの舞台で新たなドラマが生まれることを願っています。
I look forward to witnessing new stories unfold on this stage again next year.
