  一本負けが教えてくれたもの What an Ippon Defeat Taught Me 第20回日本マスターズ柔道大会に挑戦して My Challenge at the 20th Japan Masters Judo Championship 2026年6月20日・21日の二日間、埼玉県立武道館で開催された第20回日本マスターズ柔道大会に参加した。 On June 20 and 21, 2026, I participated in the 20th Japan Masters Judo Championship held at the Saitama Prefectural Budokan. 今年は個人戦だけで986名がエントリー。 This year, a record-breaking 986 competitors entered the individual divisions alone. 日本マスターズ史上最多となる参加者が全国から集まり、団体戦45チーム、形競技46組が熱戦を繰り広げた。 The largest turnout in the history of the tournament brought together judoka from across Japan, with 45 teams in the team competition and 46 pairs competing in kata. 柔道人生を振り返っても、これほど多くのベテラン柔道家が一堂に会する光景は圧巻だった。 Even after a lifetime in judo, it was inspiring to see so many veteran judoka gathered under one roof. 世代を超えて一つのチームになる One Team Across Generations 今年、私たち土曜柔道会からは団体戦に2チームが出場した。 This year, our Saturday Judo Group entered two teams in the team competition. きっかけは若手メンバーの一言だった。 It all start...

7月6日、私たちの道場に感動的な日が訪れました。 On July 6th, our dojo experienced an inspiring day.  スイスからは4つのクラブチーム、計16名のメンバーが、アメリカからは1名が初参加してくれたのです。 We were joined by four club teams from Switzerland, with a total of 16 members, and one participant from the United States who was joining us for the first time.  先週参加してくれたオーストリアの5名も引き続き来てくれ、合計22名の海外からの柔道愛好家が共に稽古し、汗を流しました。 Additionally, the five members from Austria who participated last week returned, bringing the total number of international judo enthusiasts training with us to 22. この大勢の若手柔道家たちに対抗するために、神奈川大学柔道部や埼玉大学柔道部、そしてそのOBメンバーにも事前に声をかけ、多くの方々が集まってくれました。 To match the energy of these young judo practitioners from abroad, we reached out to the judo teams of Kanagawa University and Saitama University, along with their alumni members, and many joined us for the training.  その結果、元気いっぱいの柔道の稽古ができました。 As a result, we were able to have a vibrant and energetic judo practice session. 2024年度が始まり、早くも4ヶ月が経過しました。 It's been four months since the start of 202...

ポーランドからの武者修行：横浜土曜柔道会の特別な一日　 JUDO Training Camp from Poland: A Special Day at the Yokohama Saturday Judo Club

6月15日（土）の横浜土曜柔道会は、いつもとは一味違う賑わいを見せました。 On Saturday, June 15th, the Yokohama Saturday Judo Club experienced a unique excitement. なんと、ポーランドから9つのクラブチーム、総勢30名の柔道家たちが参加してくれたのです。 A total of 30 judokas from nine club teams in Poland participated in our practice session. メンバーが指導者５名、中高生２５名（男子１９名、女子6名）。ポーランド国内で柔道を学んでいる若き武者たちです。 The group consisted of five instructors and 25 middle and high school students (19 boys and 6 girls), all young warriors studying judo in Poland. 昨年の横浜国立大学柔道部との合同稽古にも参加してくれました。 They also participated in a joint practice session with the Yokohama National University Judo Club last year. 今年も再び私たちの稽古に参加頂き、今回で2回目交流となりました。 This year, they joined us again, marking the second time we've had this exchange. 柔道修行の旅　The Journey of Judo training Camp ポーランドからのメンバーたちは、毎年日本に来て柔道の武者修行を行っています。 Every year, the members from Poland come to Japan for martial arts training in judo. 一日たりとも無駄にせず、講道館をはじめとする複数の拠点で稽古を行い、本場日本で技と精神を学んでいます。 Without wasting a single day, they practice at various loc...
