2025年5月18日（日）、大阪市東成区・深江橋に位置する講道館大阪国際柔道センターにて、第1回 春季全国柔道高段者大会が開催されました。
On May 18, 2025 (Sunday), the 1st Spring National Judo High Dan Tournament was held at the Kodokan Osaka International Judo Center in Fukaebashi, Higashinari-ku, Osaka.
この大会は、これまで毎年4月28日に東京・講道館本館で一度きり開催されていた高段者大会の新しい形。
This tournament marks a new chapter for high dan holders, as it was previously held only once a year on April 28 at the Kodokan main dojo in Tokyo.
今年からは春に大阪、秋に東京という年2回の開催へと変更され、柔道界における新たな一歩が踏み出されました。
From this year onward, it will be held twice annually—spring in Osaka and autumn in Tokyo—ushering in a new era for judo practitioners nationwide.
▼ 初の大阪開催に全国から400名近い高段者が集結！
Nearly 400 High Dan Holders Gathered for the First Osaka Tournament!
今回の大会には、全国から約400名（正式には372名）の高段者が集まり、文字通り「真剣勝負」が繰り広げられました。
A total of approximately 400 high dan holders (officially 372) gathered from all over Japan, resulting in truly intense and competitive matches.
大阪国際センターの会場規模や安全管理を考慮し、段位ごとに時間帯を分けたタイムスケジュール制が導入されました。
To ensure smooth operations and safety, the organizers adopted a staggered schedule based on dan rank, suited to the venue's size and logistics.
選手たちは自分の出番に合わせて入場し、短時間でアップ・準備を整えて試合に臨む、効率的かつ緊張感のある進行でした。
Each participant entered the venue in their designated time slot, warmed up quickly, and headed straight into their match, making for a tense and focused event.
私自身も出場し、「一本勝ち」を狙って畳に上がりました。
I also took part in the tournament, aiming for an ippon (decisive victory).
東京の関東選抜高段者大会で技術優秀賞をいただいた経験もあり、強い意気込みで臨みましたが、組み手の厳しい相手に思うような展開を作れず、結果は「引き分け」。
Having previously received the Technical Excellence Award at the Tokyo Kanto Selection High Dan Tournament, I was highly motivated, but ended up with a draw after a tough gripping battle.
悔しさもありましたが、だからこそ見えた課題が多くありました：
Although it was frustrating, the match helped me identify several key areas for improvement:
- 事前準備の精度 / Precision in pre-match preparation
- 限られた時間内での身体と気持ちの切り替え / Physical and mental adjustment within limited time
- 試合中のメンタル強化 / Mental fortitude during matches
今後の稽古や調整に、しっかりと活かしていきたいと思います。
I plan to incorporate these lessons into my training and preparation going forward.

Kodokan Executives in Attendance—A Prestigious Stage for High Dan Judoka
当日は、講道館の上村春樹館長をはじめ、松井審議部長など多くの幹部も来場。
On the day, many top officials including Kodokan Director Haruki Uemura and Executive Councilor Matsui were in attendance.
全国の柔道高段者の技術を目の前で見届ける、非常に価値ある大会となりました。
It was a rare opportunity to showcase the techniques of high dan holders from across the country in front of Kodokan leadership.

Autumn Tournament Scheduled in Tokyo—My Goal: Another Technical Excellence Award
次回は秋、東京・春日町の講道館本館で「秋季全国高段者大会」が開催される予定です。
The next tournament, the Autumn National High Dan Tournament, is scheduled to take place at the Kodokan main dojo in Kasuga, Tokyo.
その舞台で、もう一度技術優秀賞を獲得するためにも、乱取りの機会を増やし、さらに修行に励む覚悟です。
To earn the Technical Excellence Award once again, I will increase my randori sessions and intensify my training efforts.

今回の大阪開催は、柔道の新たな可能性を感じる貴重な機会となりました。
This Osaka event served as an invaluable opportunity to experience new possibilities within the judo community.
関西圏にお住まいの方にとっては、より参加しやすい環境が整ったとも言えるでしょう。
It also offered a more accessible option for judoka residing in the Kansai region.
「高段者大会ってどういう雰囲気？」「どんな意義があるの？」そう感じていた方々にとって、今後の参加を検討する良いきっかけになれば幸いです。
