The Art of Being First Class
In judo, in order to throw an opponent in a TACHI-WAZA technique, the first step is to make sure that the opponent is in a collapsed position, and then to form your own body into a throwing motion against the collapsed opponent.
The three steps of "break,(KUZUSHI)”、 "make,(TSUKURI)” and "hang(KAKE)” are important in the process of deciding on a throwing technique.
Kuzushi is characterized by an attempt to unbalance the opponent (uke) before throwing. By pulling out or pushing out the opponent, the center of gravity of the opponent is shifted to the front, back, left or right, front corner or rear corner.
It is characterized by the way in which the body is positioned immediately after the collapse and before the tori throws the uke ("kake"). Forms for throwing in judo throwing techniques such as seo-nage, uchi-mata, and tai-oshi.
Kake is the final stage featuring the throw itself. It is the final phase of throwing the receiving opponent toward the tatami.
On January 30 and February 6, I will be teaching you how to train the muscle strength needed for the "collapse," "create," and "hang" movements with tubes.
In tube training, many of you are only training your body to work out.
In this video, the training is divided into three phases: "collapse," "make," and "hang," so that you can be aware of your individual movements and express your power in each phase.
I hope the audiences will be able to feel the dramatic improvement in the performance of the techniques with a little bit of training, as I have shown in this video.
