Hello JudoYokohama members!
今日は私たちが直面している課題と、新たな挑戦についてお伝えしたいと思います。
Today I would like to share with you some of the challenges we are facing and some new ones we are taking on.

| フランスクラブチーム来日＠横浜国立大学柔道部との合同練習会 |
近年、JudoYokohamaには海外から指導に来てほしいとのリクエストが多く寄せられています。フランス、オーストリア、イタリア、ポーランド、カナダ、香港、中国、台湾、イギリスなど、世界各国からの要望があります。私たちは、柔道の普及と発展に貢献したいという想いから、是非ともこの要望に応えたいと考えています。 In recent years, JudoYokohama has received many requests from countries such as France, Austria, Italy, Poland, Canada, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom, expressing their desire for us to provide coaching and instruction. We are eager to fulfill these requests as we strive to contribute to the promotion and development of judo.
しかし、コロナ禍により海外での現地指導には踏み出せず、また費用面も課題となっていました。長い間、この課題に対処する方法を模索してきましたが、最近ではコロナが治まりつつあり、国内でも柔道の交流が盛んになってくる中で、私たちは新たなアプローチを考える事に致しました。
However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have been unable to engage in on-site teaching abroad, and the financial aspect has also posed a challenge. We have been searching for ways to address this issue, and with the situation improving as the pandemic subsides and domestic judo exchanges becoming more active, we have decided to embark on a new approach.
費用面の課題を解消し、海外の現地に赴き指導を実践することです。具体的には、以下の取り組みを進める予定です。
Our plan is to resolve the financial challenges and actively pursue on-site teaching opportunities abroad. Here are the initiatives we are considering:
①スポンサーシップの獲得
指導活動のための費用を補うために、地元の企業や団体にスポンサーシップを依頼することを検討しています。柔道の普及に賛同する企業や団体が協力してくれることで、費用の一部をカバーすることができるでしょう。
Securing Sponsorships
To cover the costs associated with teaching activities, we will approach local businesses and organizations for sponsorships. By collaborating with companies and entities that share our passion for promoting judo, we can partially offset the expenses.
②パートナーシップの構築
海外の柔道団体や指導者とのパートナーシップを築くことで、相互の交流を促進し、費用を共有することも検討しています。例えば、海外からの指導要請に対して、現地での支援（往復の旅費等）と引き換えに、私たちも海外での指導を行うといった形式です。
Building Partnerships
We are also considering establishing partnerships with overseas judo organizations and instructors to promote mutual exchange and cost sharing. For example, in exchange for local support (e.g., round-trip travel expenses), we would provide coaching overseas in response to requests for coaching from overseas.
③オンライン指導プログラムの展開
コロナ禍の制約を受けずに指導を行うために、オンライン指導プログラムの開発にも力を入れます。ビデオ会議ツールやオンラインプラットフォームを活用して、海外の指導者や選手と交流し、技術や知識を共有することができます。
Expanding Online Teaching Programs
We will also develop online teaching programs to overcome the constraints posed by the pandemic. Leveraging video conferencing tools and online platforms, we can engage in knowledge and technique sharing with international instructors and athletes.

私たちは、これらの取り組みを通じて、海外の現地で指導を実践し、柔道の普及と発展に貢献したいと考えています。海外の柔道団体や指導者との交流を通じて、文化や技術の交換が行われ、柔道の国際的な連携が一層深まることを期待しています。Through these initiatives, we aspire to realize on-site teaching abroad, contribute to the dissemination and growth of judo, and deepen international collaborations within the judo community.
