Hello everyone! The members of Yokohama Saturday Judo Club have recently undergone a significant transformation.
35年間超にわたって任意団体として活動してきましたが、今回NPO法人JUDO YOKOHAMAとして新たな一歩を踏み出すことになりました。
Although we have operated as an informal group for the past 35 years over, we have now taken a new step forward as the non-profit organization JUDO YOKOHAMA.
柔道の普及と発展に向けて、より大きな力を持つためです。
This change is driven by our commitment to promote and advance judo.
NPO法人の設立は、私たちにとって大きな節目です。
The establishment of our non-profit organization is a milestone for us.
これまでの任意団体としての活動から、より確立された組織として柔道の普及と発展に取り組むことができます。
It enables us to engage in the dissemination and development of judo as a more established and structured entity.
また、NPO法人としての地位を得ることで、より多くのリソースやサポートを活用することができるようになります。
Moreover, attaining the status of an NPO allows us to access more resources and support.
新たな法人としての活動に向けては、運営方針や目標の明確化が重要です。
Clear articulation of our operational policies and goals is vital as we embark on this new phase as a legal entity.

We are diligently working on developing activity plans and budgets to pursue the promotion and growth of judo.
また、会計や報告書の作成、役員の任命など、法人運営における重要な要素も着実に整えています。
Additionally, we are taking steps to ensure essential elements of corporate governance, such as financial reporting, document creation, and the appointment of officers.
透明性の高い運営を心がけることで、組織の発展と柔道の普及に貢献していきます。
By prioritizing transparency in our operations, we aim to contribute to the growth and popularization of judo.
NPO法人JUDO YOKOHAMAの活動においては、様々な取り組みが予定されています。
NPO JUDO YOKOHAMA has a range of initiatives planned for its activities.
柔道の指導者育成や普及活動の強化、地域の学校やコミュニティとの連携、柔道大会やワークショップの開催など、より多くの人々に柔道の魅力や価値を伝えるための活動が行われます。
These include the training and development of judo instructors, strengthening outreach programs, collaboration with local schools and communities, and organizing judo tournaments and WorkShops. Through these endeavors, we aim to convey the allure and value of judo to a wider audience.
