台湾からの風｜A Breeze from Taiwan 台湾からの風 グランドスラム東京を目前に、世界中の柔道家が日本へ集まりはじめています。
その熱気が高まる中、今年も台湾ナショナルチームの劉監督が、私たち土曜柔道会へ出稽古に来てくれました。 With the Grand Slam Tokyo just around the corner, judoka from around the world have begun arriving in Japan. Amidst this rising excitement, once again this year, Coach Liu of the Taiwan National Team came to train with us at the Saturday Judo Club. 劉監督は、世界マスターズチャンピオン。
そして指導者としても五輪、世界選手権メダリストを育て上げた、世界屈指の名コーチ。 Coach Liu is a World Masters Champion. As a coach, he has developed numerous Olympic and World Championship medalists, making him one of the world’s top instructors. 彼の柔道に向き合う姿勢、技術への信念、そして選手を育てる視点。
どれもが圧倒的で、私たちにとって学ぶべき点ばかり。

第36回 日神杯 横浜市柔道選手権大会 The 36th Nisshin Cup – Yokohama Judo Championship 11月3日（月・文化の日）、神奈川県立武道館にて、 「第36回 日神杯 横浜市柔道選手権大会」が開催されました。 On November 3rd (Culture Day), the 36th Nisshin Cup Yokohama Judo Championship was held at the Kanagawa Prefectural Martial Arts Hall. 出場カテゴリーは、中学生1〜3年生、一般無段、一級、初段、弐段、三段、四段、壮年の部と多岐にわたり、 年齢や実力を合わせて競い合う、見ごたえある大会となりました。 The categories ranged from junior high school students to non-dan, 1st kyu, 1st dan, up to 4th dan, and even the senior division. 先日、神奈川県柔道連盟主催の「七段・八段昇段祝賀会」が盛大に開催されました。 This past week, the Kanagawa Judo Federation hosted a grand promotion ceremony celebrating promotions to 7th and 8th dan ranks. この会は、柔道家としての人生の節目を祝う、非常に格式高い式典です。 This prestigious event marks a major milestone in the life of a judoka. 六段までは毎年昇段の機会がありますが、七段・八段となると話は別です。 While promotions up to 6th dan occur annually, things change significantly from the 7th dan onward. 2年に一度、全国の推薦者がその実績をもとに審議され、厳正な審査を経てようやく昇段が認められます。 Promotions to these ranks are only considered every two years and are granted only after careful review of one's lifetime contributions and achievements. 競技としての実績はもちろん、 指導者・審判としての貢献、地域や柔道界への普及・発展にどれほど尽力してきたか ――それら全てが評価の対象になります。 Not only competitive results, but also contributions as a coach, referee, and efforts to promote and develop judo in the community and beyond are all taken into account. 今年、神奈川県では7名の先生方が七段にご昇段されました。 This year, seven distinguished judoka from Kanagawa were promoted to 7th dan. その姿を目の前で拝見しなが...

背中合わせから１５秒以内に抑え込む  火曜日の一般稽古では、いつも通り「打ち込みの反復練習」を中心に、基本を徹底しています。 As always, Tuesday's general practice focused on basic judo fundamentals with repetitive uchikomi (form practice). 今週は、直近の中体連合同練習会で学んだ「短時間で集中して技の反復練習を行う」というメニューを取り入れてみました。限られた時間の中でどれだけ密度の高い稽古ができるか──そのチャレンジでした。 This week, we introduced a training menu inspired by a recent junior high school judo joint practice session, focusing on “short bursts of concentrated technical repetition.” It was a challenge to see how intense a practice session could be in a limited time. ◾️少人数でも高密度の稽古を実現 　High-Intensity Practice with a Small Group 参加者は中学生1名、社会人2名と少人数でしたが、寝技・立技ともに集中力とスピードを意識した稽古を展開。 We had just one junior high school student and two adult participants, but both newaza (groundwork) and tachiwaza (standing techniques) were practiced with great focus and speed. 寝技では、優位な体勢を取るための集中力と体力を試され、非常に充実した時間となりました。 In newaza, participants needed both concentration and stamina to secure dominant positions, making for a fulfil...
