第３３回日神杯横浜市柔道選手権大会 The 33rd Nisshin Cup Yokohama City Judo Championship Tournament
■３年ぶりの開催
Held for the First Time in Three Years
11月3日文化の日は3年ぶりに日神杯横浜市柔道選手権大会が開催されました。
On November 3, Culture Day, the Nisshin Cup Yokohama City Judo Championship Tournament was held for the first time in three years.
私は審判員として参加しました。
I participated as a referee.
コロナ禍で3年もの間、中止となり久々の大会。
The tournament had been canceled for three years due to the Corona disaster,
and it had been a long time since it had been held.
中学生〜一般社会人の柔道愛好家が集まり熱い戦いを繰り広げました。
Judo enthusiasts from junior high school students to adults gathered for heated competition.
出場者の所属を見てみると中高大学の柔道部、教員、町道場で稽古を続けている社会人と様々。
The participants were from various backgrounds, including judo clubs of junior
high schools, high schools, and universities, teachers, and members of society who continue to practice at local dojos.
中学生は１年、2年、３年と学年別の部に出場する選手もいれば、既に初段を取っている中学生は初段の部に出場して社会人と対戦する選手も。
Some junior high school students competed in the first, second, and third grade divisions, while others who had already obtained their first dan competed in the 1st-dan division and competed against adults.
弐段の部、三段、四段の部、そして壮年の部は大学生、社会人が多数出場していました。
In the 2nd-dan, 3rd-dan, and 4th-dan divisions, as well as the adult division, there were many university students and adults competing.
我ら横浜土曜柔道会からは弐段の部に１名、壮年の部で２名が参加し元気に戦って頂きました。
From the Yokohama Saturday Judo Club, one competitor participated in the 2nd-dan division and two in the adult division, and they competed vigorously.
■CAREシステム CARE System
この大会は国際試合審判規定。
This tournament was held under the international tournament refereeing rules.
中学生が参加する事から初段の部は締め技、関節技は禁止と特別試合審判規定の運用。
Because junior high school students participated in the tournament, the 1st-dan division was subject to special match refereeing rules that Shime-Waza and Kansetsu-Waza.
そして副審は畳に上がらない一審制＋ビデオによるCAREシステムが適用されました。
The assistant referee did not go up on the tatami mat, and the CARE system was applied using a single judge system and video.
昨今のスポーツ界ではテニス、野球、サッカー、バレー、バスケットそして大相撲、レスリング、柔道等の格闘技と様々な競技でビデオによるCAREシステムが広がっていますね。
In recent years, the video-based CARE system has been widely used in various sports, including tennis, baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, sumo, wrestling, judo, and other martial arts.
そして我ら柔道界では全国大会ではない市民大会でCAREシステムを導入。
In the world of judo, the CARE system has been introduced in citizen tournaments that are not national tournaments.
他競技では野球、テニス、大相撲などはプロ以外は導入していない競技もある様です。
In other sports, such as baseball, tennis, and sumo wrestling, some competitors except for professionals have not introduced the CARE system.
柔道界は市民大会でも試合の判定の公平性を実現するべくCAREシステムを運用。
The judo world uses the CARE system to ensure fairness in judging matches, even at citizens' tournaments.
出場選手としては技を公平に判定頂く事ができる環境下で稽古の成果を存分に発揮できた大会となったと思います。
The competitors were able to fully demonstrate the results of their training in an environment where their techniques could be judged fairly.

The Japanese sports world is considering outsourcing to the private sector and local communities the extracurricular club activities of junior high and high schools that have supported the very foundations of the Japanese sports world.
今後は、本大会の様に企業との連携そしてご支援を頂きながら、その発展に向けた工夫を進めて行かなければならないと言う事を感じた次第です。
We felt that in the future, we need to promote the development of these clubs in cooperation with and with the support of corporations, as was the case with this tournament.
