【トンガ王国大使館】Royal Embassy of Tonga
先日、初めてトンガ王国大使館に訪問させて頂きました。
The other day, we visited the Royal Tongan Embassy for the first time.
特命全権大使のT・スカ・マンギシ様と面会する事ができました。
We were able to meet with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Mr. T. Suka Mangisi.
横浜土曜柔道会に在籍、来春からトンガに移住されるN先生のお計らいで大使と面会する事ができました。
Thanks to the arrangement of N Sensei, who is a member of the Yokohama Saturday Judo Club and will be moving to Tonga next spring, we were able to meet with the Ambassador.
【架け橋】Bridges
現在、我らが活動している横浜土曜柔道会そしてYouTube「JudoYokohama」をご紹介。
We introduced Yokohama Saturday Judo Club, where we are currently active. And "JudoYokohama" on YouTube.
これらの柔道の普及活動に加えて「受け身」の指導の大切さについてご紹介させて頂きました。
In addition to these activities to promote judo, I would like to introduce the importance of coaching "Ukemi".
特に毎週日曜に配信している「JudoYokohama」は国内外からご視聴、ご評価頂けている事。
In particular, I mentioned that "JudoYokohama," which is broadcasted every Sunday, has been well received and appreciated by viewers in Japan and abroad.
そして、今年は海外から横浜に柔道を学びに来て頂ける流れが出来てきた事。
We are now in a position to have people from overseas come to Yokohama to study Judo in 2022.
我々はこの活動を発展させ、トンガと日本の柔道による交流を実現し、社会貢献したい事。
We would like to contribute to society by developing this activity and realizing exchange between Tonga and Japan through Judo.
【受け身の指導】Ukemi coaching Program
新「受け身の指導プログラム」による受け身の指導はラグビーにも応用が可能で選手が容易に「受け身」をマスターする事が可能です。
The new Ukemi coaching program can be applied to rugby as well, making it easier for players to master Ukemi.
受け身をマスターする事は怪我を予防し、安全な競技生活を送れ、トンガ王国のラグビー界にメリットになるはずです。
Mastering Ukemi will help prevent injuries and ensure a safe playing experience, which will benefit the rugby community in the Kingdom of Tonga.
そして、幼少〜高齢者と一般の方への「受け身」の普及は、トンガ国民の日常生活の中の転倒を予防致します。
The spread of Ukemi to the young, the elderly, and the general public will prevent falls in the daily lives of the Tongan people.
多くの皆様が安全安心な日常生活が送れる様になる！と説明致しました。
We explained, "It will enable many people to lead safe and secure daily lives."
【社会貢献】 Contribution to society
柔道、受け身の指導を通じてトンガと日本の文化交流の架け橋となり、社会貢献活動を進めたい！その様なお話をさせて頂きました。
Through coaching Judo and Ukemi, we would like to build a bridge between Tonga and Japan for cultural exchange and promote social contribution activities.
マンギシ大使様からもたくさんご質問も頂き、とってもご興味深くお話を聞いて頂く事が出来ました。
Ambassador Mangisi asked us many questions and listened to us with great interest.
母国トンガの国技「ラグビー」と日本発の武道「柔道」。
Rugby, the national sport of Tonga, and Judo, a Japanese martial art.
そして、この二つの競技の接点となる「受け身」。
Ukemi" is the connection between these two sports.
「受け身の指導」、そして高い視点からの柔道「技の指導」これらを通じ両国の社会貢献を実現していきたい。
I would like to contribute to the society of both countries through "coaching Ukemi" and "coaching techniques" of judo from a higher perspective.
そんな事を思いながら帰路に着きました。
With these thoughts in mind, I headed home.
