JUDO trainees from Austria

YouTubeで本格的に柔道の指導動画を配信するようになったのは２０２１年１月です。

It was in January 2021 that I started to provide full-fledged judo instructional videos on YouTube.


前年の２０２０年７月から全柔連のステージに従ってコロナ禍で練習を再開している姿を皆様にご紹介しようと始めたのがきっかけです。

I started it the previous year, in July 2020, to show you how we were resuming our practice at the Corona Disaster according to the stage of the All-Japan Judo Federation.


以来、毎週日曜の配信を続けていると「Austriaで柔道しています！コロナが落ち着き次第、日本訪問するのでそちらの練習に参加したい！」とメッセージを受信。

Since then, as we have continued to distribute every Sunday, we have received the following message: “We are doing JUDO in Austria! As soon as Corona settles down, We will visit Japan and would like to join your practice! “ we received a message from a Japanese mother living in Austria.


オーストリア在住の日本人のお母様からで「息子が柔道を一生懸命練習している！強くなりたい！」との事。

It's from a Japanese mother living in Austria, and “her son is working very hard at judo! He want to be strong! “


そして「帰国時に一度練習に参加、技を教えて欲しい！」とのご要望でした。

She asked me to attend one practice session when she returns to Japan and teach him some techniques.



それから早１年。

It has been a year since then.


先月７月にオーストリアからの帰国が実現。我ら横浜土曜柔道会の稽古に参加して頂けたのです！

Last month, in July, They returned from Austria. They joined our training at Yokohama Saturday Judo Club!



本当にこんな日が来るのか！？と驚きました！

I was surprised that such a day would really come.


オーストリアで私たちのJudoYokohamaをご覧頂いた事がきっかけで柔道着を持って練習をしに来てくれるなんて！！

It was a great honor for him to see our JudoYokohama in Austria and to come to our practice with his Judo uniform!


武道館で会えた時、本当に嬉しかった瞬間でした。

It was a really happy moment when we met at the Budokan.


そして、一緒に練習をしてみると内股、大外刈、体落と色々な技をマスター。

When we practiced together, he mastered various techniques such as Uchimata, Oosoto-Gari, and Taiotoshi.


その技の完成度に驚き、オーストリアのクラブではしっかりと技を教えて頂けているのだなぁとその指導レベルの高さに感心した次第です。

I was surprised at the perfection of their techniques and was impressed by the high level of instruction at the club in Austria, where the techniques are taught well.




オーストリアと横浜。

YouTubeチャンネルJudoYokohamaで結ばれました。

We are now connected through the YouTube channel JudoYokohama.


これをきっかけに兄弟道場として継続して交流できたら良いなぁ〜なんて思った７月の活動でした。

I hope we can continue our exchange as Brother Dojos.

ポーランドからの武者修行：横浜土曜柔道会の特別な一日　 JUDO Training Camp from Poland: A Special Day at the Yokohama Saturday Judo Club

6月15日（土）の横浜土曜柔道会は、いつもとは一味違う賑わいを見せました。 On Saturday, June 15th, the Yokohama Saturday Judo Club experienced a unique excitement. なんと、ポーランドから9つのクラブチーム、総勢30名の柔道家たちが参加してくれたのです。 A total of 30 judokas from nine club teams in Poland participated in our practice session. メンバーが指導者５名、中高生２５名（男子１９名、女子6名）。ポーランド国内で柔道を学んでいる若き武者たちです。 The group consisted of five instructors and 25 middle and high school students (19 boys and 6 girls), all young warriors studying judo in Poland. 昨年の横浜国立大学柔道部との合同稽古にも参加してくれました。 They also participated in a joint practice session with the Yokohama National University Judo Club last year. 今年も再び私たちの稽古に参加頂き、今回で2回目交流となりました。 This year, they joined us again, marking the second time we've had this exchange. 柔道修行の旅　The Journey of Judo training Camp ポーランドからのメンバーたちは、毎年日本に来て柔道の武者修行を行っています。 Every year, the members from Poland come to Japan for martial arts training in judo. 一日たりとも無駄にせず、講道館をはじめとする複数の拠点で稽古を行い、本場日本で技と精神を学んでいます。 Without wasting a single day, they practice at various loc

第３３回日神杯横浜市柔道選手権大会 　The 33rd Nisshin Cup Yokohama City Judo Championship Tournament

■ ３年ぶりの開催 　 　 Held for the First Time in Three Years 11月3日文化の日は3年ぶりに日神杯横浜市柔道選手権大会が開催されました。 On November 3, Culture Day, the Nisshin Cup Yokohama City Judo Championship Tournament was held for the first time in three years. 私は審判員として参加しました。 I participated as a referee. コロナ禍で3年もの間、中止となり久々の大会。 The tournament had been canceled for three years due to the Corona disaster,  and it had been a long time since it had been held. 中学生〜一般社会人の柔道愛好家が集まり熱い戦いを繰り広げました。 Judo enthusiasts from junior high school students to adults gathered for heated competition. 出場者の所属を見てみると中高大学の柔道部、教員、町道場で稽古を続けている 社会人と様々 。 The participants were from various backgrounds, including judo clubs of junior  high schools, high schools, and universities, teachers, and members of society who continue to practice at local dojos. 中学生は１年、2年、３年と学年別の部に出場する選手もいれば、既に初段を 取っている中学生は初段の部に出場して社会人と対戦する選手も。 Some junior high school students competed in the first, second, and third grade divisions, while others who had already obtained their first
