令和6年度 東京・関東地区対抗選抜柔道大会
Reiwa 6 Tokyo and Kanto District Competition Selection Judo Tournament
この大会は、東京地区と関東地区の高段者（六段以上）が一堂に会し、学校、実業団、個人道場、各種柔道クラブなど、それぞれの場で指導に携わる者達が覇を競い合う伝統ある団体戦です。
The Tokyo vs. Kanto Judo Tournament is a prestigious team competition where high-ranking judoka—sixth dan and above—representing schools, corporate teams, private dojos, and various judo clubs gather to test their skills.
東京・関東の両地区から、それぞれ選抜された38名が熱戦を繰り広げました。
Each year, 38 judoka from Tokyo and 38 from Kanto are selected to compete in this traditional event.
今年は 3月23日（日）、講道館5階女子部道場 にて開催。
This year, the tournament took place on Sunday, March 23, at the 5th-floor Women’s Dojo in the KODOKAN.
結果は 関東21勝、東京10勝、7引き分け で関東が勝利を収めました。
The results: Kanto secured victory with 21 wins, Tokyo had 10 wins, and 7 matches ended in a draw.

横浜土曜柔道会の仲間たちの活躍
The Success of Our Yokohama Saturday Judo Club Members
横浜土曜柔道会でともに技を磨く仲間からは、関東5名、東京3名の計8名が選抜 されました。
Among the competitors, 8 judoka from our Yokohama Saturday Judo Club were selected—5 representing Kanto and 3 representing Tokyo.
そのうち 5名が一本勝ちし、技術優秀賞を受賞 するという素晴らしい成果を収めました。
An impressive 5 of them secured victory by ippon and were honored with the Outstanding Technique Award.
日々の稽古の成果が形となり、次なるステージへの扉が開かれたことを、何より喜ばしく思います。
Seeing the results of our relentless training take shape in competition was truly rewarding. More than just a victory, this experience opened the door to new challenges and higher levels of judo.

柔道に終わりはありません。高段者として、指導者として、そして一人の修行者として、さらに精進を重ね、次の世代へ技と心を伝えていかなければならない と改めて感じました。
Judo is a lifelong pursuit.As high-ranking practitioners, we are not only instructors but also perpetual students of the art. We must continue to refine our skills and deepen our understanding of judo, ensuring that its techniques and philosophy are passed down to the next generation.

そして、私自身の復帰戦
My Personal Journey: Returning to Competition
私は令和5年4月に アキレス腱を断裂 し、昨年度の大会は無念の欠場。
In April 2023, I ruptured my Achilles tendon, which forced me to miss last year’s tournament.
今年の大会が 復帰戦 となりました。
This year, I returned to the mat for my first competition since the injury.
結果は 一本勝ち、そして 技術優秀賞の受賞。この瞬間は、言葉にできないほど嬉しいものでした。
I am truly grateful that I was able to win my match by ippon and receive the Outstanding Technique Award.
しかし、試合を振り返ると、相手と組み合ってから技を仕掛けるまでに時間がかかり、修行不足を痛感 しました。
However, upon reflection, I recognize that there was a delay between gripping my opponent and executing my technique—a clear sign that I still have room for improvement.
この経験を糧に、さらに努力と研鑽を積み、心・技・体を磨いていこうと新たに誓う大会となりました。
This tournament was a reminder that the pursuit of judo never ends. With renewed determination, I will continue to train, refine my skills, and strengthen my spirit and body.
柔道は、人生とともに続いていくもの。これからも精進し、成長を続けていきます。
Judo is not just about victories; it is about continuous growth and dedication. This journey does not end here—it only continues.
