第36回 日神杯 横浜市柔道選手権大会 The 36th Nisshin Cup – Yokohama Judo Championship 11月3日（月・文化の日）、神奈川県立武道館にて、 「第36回 日神杯 横浜市柔道選手権大会」が開催されました。 On November 3rd (Culture Day), the 36th Nisshin Cup Yokohama Judo Championship was held at the Kanagawa Prefectural Martial Arts Hall. 出場カテゴリーは、中学生1〜3年生、一般無段、一級、初段、弐段、三段、四段、壮年の部と多岐にわたり、 年齢や実力を合わせて競い合う、見ごたえある大会となりました。 The categories ranged from junior high school students to non-dan, 1st kyu, 1st dan, up to 4th dan, and even the senior division. Athletes of all ages and skill levels competed, making this tournament highly competitive and exciting to watch. 実力伯仲の熱戦 Intense Matches with Even Skills 一試合ごとに、勝者が最後まで分からない展開が続き、 会場は大きな歓声と拍手に包まれました。 Each match was unpredictable until the final moments, filling the venue with cheers and applause. 応援が選手の力に Support That Empowered the Athletes 家族、所属の先生、道場の師範が駆けつけ、熱い声援を送る姿は、とても印象的でした。 試合に挑む選手たちは、日頃の稽古の成果を全力で畳の上にぶつけました。 Families, teachers, and dojo masters came to support their athlete...

Empress's Cup All Japan Women's Judo Championships Approaching

  皇后盃全日本女子柔道選手権大会が４月１７日（日）横浜市の横浜武道館で開催され ます。 The Empress's Cup All Japan Women's Judo Championships will be held on Sunday, April 17 this year at Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama City. 本大会が桜咲く４月に横浜で有観客開催されるのは３年ぶり。 This will be the first time in three years that this tournament will be held in Yokohama in April, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. 今年は４名の推薦選手、地区予選を勝ち抜いた代表３４名と合わせて３８名の選手が体重無差別で女子柔道日本一の座をかけて競い合います。 This year, 38 athletes, including 4 nominated athletes and 34 representatives who won the regional qualifying rounds, will compete for the number one spot in Japan in women's judo in the weight-neutral category. １０月のタシケント世界柔道選手権（ウズベキスタン）、２０２４年パリオリンピックへ向けた選手選考への重要な判断材料となる大会です。 This tournament will be an important decision-making event for the selection of athletes for the Tashkent World Judo Championships (Uzbekistan) in October and the 2024 Paris Olympics. 注目の選手は児玉ひかる、橋本朱未、冨田若春、朝比奈沙羅ら４選手。４月２日に福岡で開催した全日本選抜柔道体重別選手権78kg超級にもエントリー。 Four notable athletes, in...

4/2（土）〜３（日）に福岡で選抜体重別選手権大会が開催されました。 On April 2 (Sat.) - 3 (Sun.), the Selected Weight Classification Championships were held in Fukuoka, Japan. ここ数年、コロナ禍で無観客試合が続いたが、久しぶりに有観客の試合となりました。 After a series of no-show matches at the Corona Disaster in recent years, this was the first attended match in a long time. 大野、素根、ウルフが欠場となりましたが、それ以外の東京五輪代表が出場。 Ohno, Sone, and Wolf were absent, but the rest of the Tokyo Olympics representatives competed. まさに世界選手権決勝レベルの選手が多数出場する大会となりました。 This was truly a tournament with many World Championship final-level players. タシケント世界選手権の代表選考試合。 Tashkent World Championships preliminary round match. パリ五輪代表選考が正式にスタートする大会となり代表選考の熾烈を極める争いとなりました。 The competition was the official start of the selection process for the Paris Olympics, and it was a fierce competition for the national team. 私の中の筆頭は、横浜土曜柔道会で共に汗を流した新井雄士選手(皇宮警察)が出場する大会となった事。 The first thing in my mind was that Yuji Arai (Imperial Guard), with whom we worked together in the Yokohama Saturday Judo Cl...
